Detailed feedback on Pro Practice Mat

I purchased the Pro Practice Mat for my garage setup. Ordering was straightforward on their website. It shipped via FedEx and arrived within 5 business days, which was reasonable for a larger item. The mat itself is quite thick and feels substantial underfoot, much better than my previous mat from another brand. The strike feedback is noticeable, helping me identify fat shots. I've used it daily for a few weeks now, and it's holding up well; no signs of wear yet, even with my irons. I'm using real tees with it, which is a big plus. Cleaning seems simple enough with a brush. Compared to some of the higher-priced alternatives, this mat offers a strong performance for the money. I had a quick question about storage, and their online support replied within an hour.

Solid mat, shipping could be faster

I bought the heavy duty golf mat. The quality seems very good, durable, and provides good feedback. It took about 7 days to reach me in California, which felt a bit long. Customer service was responsive when I asked about tracking. Overall, a solid product for the price, but shipping time could be an area to improve for future orders.

Great value on bundle

I was looking for a good mat for my home simulator setup and found Motivo Golf. I got one of their simulator package deals during a holiday sale. It was a really good price for what I received. I'd been comparing prices with other brands like Fiberbuilt, and this bundle offered significantly more for my budget. Getting the hitting mat and a putting mat together at that price was a steal. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth.

Good mat, no issues

I picked up one of their portable golf mats. It's pretty decent, easy to move around. The turf feels nice. Shipping was free, which was cool. It arrived within a week. No complaints, it does what it's supposed to do. Would probably buy from them again if I need another mat.

Can you use regular golf tees with the Motivo hitting mats or do they have special ones you need to buy?

A Alex B. 2 months ago

You can use regular tees, they have spots for them. It's pretty convenient.

J June M. 1 month ago

Most of their mats come with a holder or pre-cut holes that fit standard rubber tees or even regular wooden ones if you push them in good.

Anyone know if Motivo Golf does a military discount? I'm a vet and always try to support companies that offer that.

C Cody 2 months ago

I'm pretty sure they do. I saw it mentioned somewhere on their site or during checkout. Look for a link near the bottom or in the cart.

Yeah, they definitely have one. Just follow the instructions on their site, I think it's through a verification service.

Are these Motivo mats okay to leave outside? I want to set up a little hitting bay in my backyard.

M Mia 2 months ago

Mine's been outside on my patio for months, no issues. It handles the sun and some rain fine, just make sure it drains okay.

3

S Steve Patel 2 months ago

Yep, they're designed for it. Just might want to cover it during crazy weather if you're really trying to make it last forever, but general outdoor use is fine.

How do these Motivo mats compare to a TrueStrike mat? Is it worth spending the extra for a TrueStrike or is Motivo pretty similar quality?

P Paula 2 months ago

I've hit off both. Motivo is really good, especially for the price. TrueStrike feels a bit softer on impact, but Motivo still gives good feedback without jarring your elbows.

Motivo is a solid choice. I had a TrueStrike before and liked it, but when I needed a new one, I went with Motivo for the value. Very happy with it, super durable.

Considering a Motivo mat but worried about returns if it's not quite right. Has anyone returned one of their mats? Was it a pain?

A Alex Silva 2 months ago

Yeah, returns were easy. Just follow their process on the site.

J Julia F. 2 months ago

I didn't return mine, but I did check their policy before buying. Looked pretty straightforward, like most online stores. No huge red flags from what I remember.

Does Motivo Golf ever do free shipping? Looking at a big hitting mat and shipping costs can add up for those things.

N Nina K. 1 month ago

They usually have free shipping on most domestic orders, I think it's pretty standard for them.

6

J James Okafor 1 month ago

Yeah, check during checkout. Most of the time it's automatically applied for larger mats unless it's some super special deal.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows how long it usually takes for a Motivo Golf mat to arrive? I'm in NYC and hoping to get it before a trip.

C Chris Lindqvist 2 months ago

Mine took about a week to get to California. I think it depends on where you are, but NYC should be pretty quick.

E Emma 2 months ago

I got a putting mat from them last month, shipped to Florida. It was like 5 business days, pretty standard for ground shipping.

Is Motivo Golf a legit company? Seems like a good deal but I haven't heard much about them compared to some other big names.

I Ivy 1 month ago

Yeah, they're legit. I've had my mat for over a year, no complaints.

T Troy Ito 1 month ago

Totally legit. My golf coach actually recommends them. Good quality mats, definitely not some fly-by-night operation.
